DDA Mission Statement

Dartmouth Dance Academy (DDA) is located in the city of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. Our Mission is to provide sound technical dance training and opportunities for students to perform. We believe a balance between the two provides the best dance education for the recreational dancer and for the serious student.

Dartmouth Dance Academy was established in 1963, and we provide dance training 7 days a week under the direction of Lisa Hart F.C.D.T.A. at 2 studios:

• Cole Harbour Place (51 Forest Hills Pkwy., Dartmouth), and
• Dartmouth Sportsplex (110 Wyse Rd., Dartmouth).

Classes are for young children to adult!

Disciplines taught include,

• Ballet
• Creative Dance
• Hiphop
• Jazz
• Lyrical
• Pointe
• Modern
• Musical Theatre
• Step dance, and
• Tap.

Teacher Assistance and Training also available.

Canadian Dance Teachers Association exams are available in all disciplines!
